The Great Wight Bite is taking over the stunning Northwood House, Cowes for a weekend of gastronomic indulgence and cracking entertainment.
We will be jam packed full of delicious street food traders from across the Island and the south coast, as well as some brilliant shopping from the island’s best artisan food, drink and craft producers. Sit back and watch the island’s very best talent on our Chefs Demo Stage hosted TV presenter Chris Bavin and welcoming one of the UK’s most loved Italian chefs Gennaro Contaldo.
Our Masterclass Kitchen is where to find local food and drink producers showing off their talents and the Little Chefs Den is the place for budding cooks with a range of amazing classes to book curated by The Little Gloster. All served up with a huge side of celebrity and great live music. No need to leave the pooch at home the Great Wight Bite is dog friendly too!

Gennaro needs little introduction, a highly respected chef, writer, broadcaster not to mention the Italian legend who taught Jamie Oliver all he knows about cooking. His TV credits include ‘Jamie Cooks Italy’, ‘Two Greedy Italians’ and is a regular on Saturday Kitchen. With over twelve cookery books, selling over 100,000 copies are a must for any foodie. Gennaro will be joining the fun on our Chefs Stage and inspiring tomorrows cooks in our Little Chefs Den.

He’s presented Tomorrow’s Food, The Truth About Food and Shop Well For the Planet to name just a few. A regular One Show reporter and even popping up for guest appearances on the Chelsea Flower Show. Chris will be hosting our Chef’s Demo Stage plus a whole lot more!
